Serving a generous helping of Idaho hospitality and steak-and-potatoes cuisine, this wood-paneled mainstay opened its doors in 1959. While trendy eateries have moved into Boise, this restaurant has kept to its roots. Diners will find Western art and artifacts decorating the restaurant's dark walls, and a menu that looks the same as did it 40 years ago. All cuts of steak are offered from tenderloin tips to prime rib, and the prawns come big, breaded and fried.
