The Leg Room is a swanky little Gold Coast location for lounging and casual dining. The postmodern decor features a melange of furnishings and accessories dating from the 1930-60s. The music is unpredictable, at once mixing funk, house, electronic and swing tunes. Occasionally, the bar charges a modest cover around $5. The martini offerings are immense, with curiosities like the "Spiked Heel," a concoction of vodka, gin and a mist of vermouth. Or try the "Comfort Zone," with Southern Comfort, sweet vermouth, bitters, sugar and a cherry. If martinis are not your bag, select from a number of premium whiskeys or small batch bourbons.
