Most of the birds are migrating to warmer climates, so this is perfect for the avid birdwatcher looking for less-than-common sightings. Originally, it used to be an Army missile base that used honeysuckle and other plants and berries to cover up its location. Today, this 15-acre stretch of land has turned into a nationally recognized birdwatching area full of sparrows, thrushes, doves, and blackbirds.
