Marigold is unlike most other Indian eateries in Chicago. You won't find a buffet or a phonebook-sized menu here. What the menu lacks in breadth is made up quite well by its depth. At Marigold, traditional Indian dishes are presented with a modern flair, and taste is in no way compromised. For those who love their food spicy, the generously-portioned lamb vindaloo should be at the top of your list. If you are less carnivorously-minded, the vegetarian thali, which features house-made saag paneer, chana masala, achaari andhra eggplant, and basmati rice is guaranteed to hit the spot.
