Overview

National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame, was started by George Randazzo as a result of his hobby of collecting boxing memorabilia and photos. Since 1977, it houses memorabilia and other precious artifacts like Rocky Marciano's first heavyweight championship belt, Matt Biondi's Olympic Gold Medals, Mario Andretti's Indy 500 race car and photographs of a few boxing legends. Over the past, the halls existence truly lies in creating an awareness about the achievements of Italian-American sporting heroes.
