Nomades (Les), Chicago

Les Nomades is tucked into what looks to be a quiet townhouse, originally opened as a private dining club, but has since been opened to the public at large. Jackets and ties are required of gentlemen in both the brightly lit downstairs or in the Salon du Upstairs, which features warm, cherry paneled-walls and a fireplace. Both rooms offer such entrees as ravioli of lobster with grilled scallop, shrimp and eggless Bearnaise sauce. The dishes are expensive, though, with the average dinner running around $60. This is one of the most elegant and exclusive restaurants in Chicago, so be sure to make a reservation early to ensure your table.
