Overview

The Storefront Theater, owned and managed by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, is located in the artistic hub of Loop. The 99 seater theater is a venue for small and mid size theater productions. Plays, operas, musicals, dance and children's theater are all showcased at this performing venue. The theater is an important community venue as many small theater companies do not have a production space of their own to showcase their talent.
