The Sunset Cafe narrates the tale of Jazz Legends who started their careers from here. Maestros like Louis Armstrong, Cab Calloway, Johnny Dodds, Bix Beiderbecke, Jimmy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Gene Krupa and, Earl "Fatha" Hines began their musical journey from here. This cafe was one of the most important American Jazz Clubs of the 1920's. This birth place of several great musicians still stands proud with some of the original murals still on the wall.
