The Supreme Life Building was the headquarters of the Liberty Life Insurance company. It was operated and owned by an African-American collaboration which had bought this building in 1924. In the year 1929 there was a merger, which formed the Supreme Life Insurance Company of America. The company renovated the original classical-style facade with porcelain-metal panels. This was done in order to survive the Great Depression. All in all, this place is a must-visit on your trip to Chicago.
