The glow from the tiny Magazine Street dining room seems quiet and quaint, but upon entering Vizard's, patrons are overtaken by the roar of the vivacious Uptown diners enjoying their cocktails and Chef Kevin Vizard's remarkably contemporary comfort-inspired foods. Menu favorites include the Scallop Flan with jumbo lump crab and creamy crab jus and the Pan Seared Redfish with corn, oyster mushrooms, crab salad and truffle vinaigrette. Finish a meal with Vizard's uniquely decadent Black and Blue. The dark chocolate cake filled with a creamy blue cheese cake and topped with a port wine reduction and chantilly cream is an ideal way to bring a sweet end to the evening.
