Of all the chain brand big corporate-name hotels taking up the Ocean City strip, Courtyard is our favorite. The rooms are huge, the service is surprisingly warm and personalized, there’s a lovely pool that’s great for kids in the center—these may not all be very exciting perks, but they’re reliable, and at the end of the day, comfort and reliability is what your hotel should provide. The Courtyard has both in spades. It also feels new and, dare we say, a smidge contemporary, especially when compared to the blah, bland properties that flank it. Another plus: It’s within easy stumbling distance of the nightlife complex of the Party Block. Online deals can drop prices quite easily, and drastically.
