Overview

Hip and trendy, Cambridge 1 offers a short but adventurous menu in a downtown, refined industrial atmosphere. Thin, crisp crusts manage to walk the line between chewy and crunchy. Toppings range from just the almost raw sauce and fresh mozzarella with basil to lobster—and you can order halves, so try two. The potato, rosemary & fontina pizza is scandalously delicious but the chevre and sorrel is surprisingly dull. The service is friendly and competent. Try for one of the recessed booths if you're a group, or sit at the welcoming bar if you're alone. Stephanie Bostic
