Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge spans more than 3800 acres (1537.81 hectares) of wetlands and trails along the Concord and Sudbury Rivers. Migratory birds and other plant and animal life are protected by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service here, and can be observed from park trails.
