Herrell's, Boston

From across the street, the big burgundy awning with the name 'Herrell's', in yellow lights makes this one of the hardest establishments to miss. Guests can sit at small tables along the front window or by the wall, at a bar around the back of the counter or on the couch in the back of the dining area. Their most unique feature is not the wine-red ceiling, yellow and blue walls, blue and gray floor or outdated furniture. It's Michelangelo's The Creation of Adam above the front door. The furnishings, décor and interior are a little out of date, but sometimes the best places focus on hiring great people and making great homemade ice cream, coffee and breakfast burritos.
