Chef-owner Steve Johnson offers guests at Rendezvous a gamut of Mediterranean preparations that draw on influences as diverse as French, Spanish, Italian and North African, but are prepared without unnecessary flourishes. You can expect dishes to be wholesome, tasty, and prepared from the freshest local ingredients. Start off with local oysters on the half-shell and potato gnocchi, then go in for the grilled pork tenderloin with port, grilled figs and nectarine mustard. End your meal with Lemon Buttermilk Pudding or Orange Polenta Cake. Some truly fine wines are available by the glass, and oh, yes, do try and secure one of the window tables; they offer a charming view of the street outside!
