Tu Y Yo, Boston

Tu Y Yo is an excellent Mexican restaurant located near Davis Square. The decor is tastefully done in traditional artwork, displaying historic events against lively colors. The atmosphere is open and one feels comfortable almost immediately. Try the Bisteces en salsa borracha—a mix of beef, cactus and spicy beer sauce; Carmarón con Pulpo—a mix of shrimp and octopus with smoky and chocolaty pasilla peppers, Pollo Fortín de las Flores, chicken breast covered in morita and guajillo pepper sauce with tomatoes, onions, garlic and chopped cactus, and for desert try the puff pastry with sweet avacado cream and berries...it's just sinful! All the main course dishes come with rice or and a bowl of beans. On Sundays they open at 10 am, call ahead to check the same.
