The Eudora Welty House Garden offers a glimpse into the world of Miss Welty and her love for plants. Laid by her mother in 1925, the garden spreads over vast three-quarters of an acre and displays a colorful array of stunning blossoms. Poppies, daylilies, daffodils, and many more beautiful creations of God thrive here. Benches at regular intervals offer a restful break while you walk leisurely through the five sections. The carefully retained house throws a light on the life of Miss Welty and has some other interesting works of this accomplished writer cum photographer. A walk to this location is a sure enriching experience.
