Located at the Veterans Memorial Museum in Branson, this bronze sculpture depicts 50 soldiers running along a beach and is a worth a visit. At 70 feet long and weighing 15 tons, it is the largest war memorial sculpture in the world. World-renowned artist Fred Hoppe created the sculpture using 50 veterans—one from each state—as models. When you are done admiring the sculpture, wander into the museum and pay tribute to the soldiers who died in World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam and the Persian Gulf.
