This 35-acre historic site and nature preserve sits on land that once was part of the Santa Fe Trail. Today, it is dedicated to preserving local history and the natural features of the area. A variety of interactive programs are available, including Bug Out, Bird Basics, Laura Ingalls Live, O' Pioneers and more. Hiking, bird watching, picnicking and self-guided tours also await. A cave and a small pond offer hours of exploring and wildlife study.
