Overview
Primarily Shawnee Native American children attended this school from 1839-1862. It was also a frontier trail supply and camp for Union soldiers during the Civil War. Learn about the turbulent history of Kansas with a guided tour and workshops. Three buildings exhibit photographs, furniture and other period displays. Admission prices are affordable; adults $3 and students just $1.
