If you bought a new outfit and want to show it off, head to 609 any night of the week for tunes and tastes. This restaurant/lounge is one of the "see and be seen" capitals of St. Louis. The DJs are nothing to scoff at, and there are always people who go specifically to dance. However, the dance floor is small and wallflowers post themselves strategically to scope out the next big thing in hook-up history. The kitchen is open until 12:30a, with a late night bar menu that's not bad. Bring a heavy wallet though, cause these contemporary Asian-inspired meals don't run cheap. Get groovy and afterwards, get a hot dog from the street vendor on Delmar and Skinker.
