Bar Louis, St. Louis

This restaurant and bar is always on fire. The dim lights and rustic motif set a stage for relaxed socializing. The slightly raised second level is usually reserved for those enjoying cocktails and conversation on the plush red couches. Mature beverages are only half the story. From veggie burgers with a meaty kick to pizza, wings, wraps and salads, the diverse menu has something for everyone. The staff is incredibly friendly and energetic, and the regularly packed house keeps them on their toes. During holidays, the crowd can be a bit overwhelming; but if tables are scarce in the house or outside, the bar gives full service.
