We got off to a bad start while checking in we had to pay an extra fee ( $15.00 ) per day special tax. Hotel is nice, but food is way to high priced, breakfast for 2 $38.00. None of the big mega casinos have keno either plan on staying down town on the strip and only going to the big casinos for the shows...   Read More

We just got back from staying there. Not as fancy as I thought it would be.Rooms starting to look a little worn and tired.Could use some upgrading. That was for a normal room don't know what the suites there are like.My husband misplaced something and when we pulled the bed out we found a bunch of crap and a lot of dust.A paper that was dated from Dec 2009.out of curiosity we pulled out the other bed the same. You wouldn't believe the garbage we found. No wonder I was having problems with headaches. We were checking out that day so we asked to see a manager and he took some money off of our bill.I use to clean hotels and if I cleaned like that I would have been fired .It didn't take much to move the beds out so why haven't they did it.They use upright vacuum cleaners which don't go under beds or vacuum very well.Don't know if we will be going back to Vegas but if we do it will be some where else.Pyramid cafe had good food but the food from the food court was terrible.Other then that experience we did have a good time and saw some amazing shows.....   Read More

If you make a reservation at Luxor and if you happen to cancel it (on the same day few hours later), make sure you get your money back. They tend to hold your money until you call; you find this out when you receive your credit card bill and see the charges instead of credited amount. A reservation desk folk claims that they credited the charges and accounts receivable claims they never received the message to reverse it. Then it becomes your problem to get your money back for the services you never had....   Read More

that hotel sucks,i was stuck there for five days.i got there and my reservation wasn't available...so they move us to another place,we do not smoke and they give us a smoking room ,so we have to move again, then the next day at 7 in the morning security was pounding at the door because somebody complain of excessive noise, we were sleeping, next day i was taking a bath in the jacuzzi then ,again security was pounding a t the door with the maintenance guy .they believe that we was having a party ,because water was running to lower floor room...so we have to get dress and wait for them to inspect the bathroom...it was the spout that was rusty...so next day no incident ,when we left we pay cash but they still charge the credit card,we was at the airport so we call them and guess they charge the card again and again,i have 4 charge in my credit card..so i can use my card for security reason, did i mention that i hate credit card and that was my only one so now i have none, and discover card said that i have to wait 15 day for them to correct the problem,so this is was my personal experience ,so luxor hotel?? think again!!!...   Read More

When we checked in, tired from a long day of flight connections, we were informed that there was a $ 14.50 daily facilities charge. This wasn't on the reserrvation nor can I find it on the web sites for the Luxor or it's sister properties the Mandamay Bay and the Excalibur. There was a reein shower and the windows in the piramid leak. The fellow traveling with was moved to a tower room becouse of all the dripping that kept him awake. They did eliminte the last day Facilities charge as we were leaving at 5:30 in the morning....   Read More
