Oyster Bar, Las Vegas

The Oyster Bar, located within Palace Station Hotel & Casino, is a popular place to get fresh seafood, mostly of the shell variety. Not too many tourists know about this place, because it's somewhat off the strip and Palace Station caters mostly to locals, but it won't stay a secret for long. After a long wait, diners crowd around the bar and watch chefs prepare the food right in front of them. Oysters, clams, mussels, shrimp, crab and lobster are available, prepared in a wide variety of ways. Specialty dishes include the Bouillabaisse, Ciappino and their famous Pan Roast: you pick the type of seafood, which is then cooked in steam kettles with butter, brandy, cream, tomato, herbs, and spices and served with steamed white rice.
