The Guadalupe Cafe is a Santa Fe institution, located right next to the Legislature and serving delicious, innovative dishes. Cozy up by the kiva fireplace in the winter or enjoy the outdoor patio during the summer. This place is known for its chile: those who are not aficionados should beware, as it is definitely on the hot end of the scale. Take note: any request to "hold the chile" will be refused. For the non-chile lovers, opt for the amazing Santa Fe Breakfast Crepe: a battered wholewheat tortilla stuffed and smothered with yogurt, granola and fruit and served warm. Alternatively, one of the enormous salads makes a hearty and healthy lunch.
