Risa's Restaurant & Catering, Buffalo

Risa is the third generation of her family to own and operate a restaurant. Her New York style deli specializes in homemade soups, salads and sandwiches. Some of her soups include chicken noodle with matzo balls and sweet and sour cabbage soup. Try one of their star combination sandwiches, including a Stumpy's special corned beef, lettuce, tomato, with Russian dressing), an "Al Pachino" (turkey, salami, and corned beef on rye with mustard), or a "Carol Chaning" (corned beef or pastrami with chopped liver on rye with mustard). Desserts include Risa's cheesecake, rice pudding, and apple strudel with raisins. They also have an extensive catering menu, including breakfast trays, deli trays and boxed lunches. - Christine A.
