Willow Creek Winery, Buffalo

This winery founded in 1999 is operated by the Metzger family. It is one of the few smaller wineries that has the facility to freeze its wine during the process to remove the skins and yeast. Some of their wines include Concord, Rambo red, Cayuga white, Chardonnay and Chambourcin. This winery spans 25 acres that feature a beautiful picnic grove, pond and gazebo. It is a popular spot for weddings, reunions, and other events. Their catering facility holds up to 600 people for receptions. The Jammin’ at the Creek concert series takes place weekly at the winery May through September. - Christine A. Smyczynski
