Overview
The main feature of this 903 acre State park is Hempstead Lake, the largest lake in Naussau County. Other features and activities of the park include a historic, hand carved operational antique wooden carousel that was built in 1925, bridle paths for horse back riding, fishing, boating, picnicking, children's playgrounds, and 20 tennis courts.
