Brr... turn on the heat; Arctica Bar on Third Avenue is a chilled-out location. Inspired by an Antarctic expedition undertaken in a ship called the Endurance, Arctica offers a globetrotting menu of high-end pub grub, including pizza and quesadillas, and even something for the kids. Televisions behind the bar allow for gamers of major sports to get their fix while others chatter their teeth away. One might expect a cold reception, but staff are generally friendly and attentive, serving a selection of cold beers and chilled cocktails. Perhaps this place is to be avoided during the winter.
