Bar Bao is Chef Michael Bao Huynh’s latest oeuvre. The Vietnamese chef who has been associated with other oriental restaurants like Bun and Mai House now showcases his talents at this cavernous, warm and inviting restaurant which has a distinct lounge-like feel. The menu at Bar Bao features delectable small plates like the Summer Rolls, the innovative Daikon Duck Hash and the spicy Sizzling Cuttlefish. Entrees include a Wagyu Hanger Steak and Chef Huynh’s signature dish: the Crispy Red Snapper served in a sweet and sour sauce. The traditional Vietnamese pho noodle soup also makes an appearance on the menu, as does an excellent Duck Fried Rice.
