Overview
Since 1972 the Broome Street Bar has been serving drinks and pub-grub to locals in the neighborhood which was known as the 'cast-iron district' back then. The bar still retains its old-fashioned atmosphere in what is today, fashionable SoHo. However, this is probably why you have so many locals inside drinking 5$ Sierra Nevada on tap, which is about as cheap as a pint gets in this ritzy area. Burgers and sandwiches are also served in addition to some very expensive Belgian beers by the bottle.
