It's all in the name because no one can be half as good as Shakespeare. Centuries after the Shakespeare's death, he continues to be the most popular. The open-air Delacorte Theater is home to the Public Theater which carries on the New York Shakespeare in the Park festival. Classical plays such as Agamemnon, The Skin of Our Teeth, and musicals including The Pirates of Penzance and On the Town, have also been performed. Tickets are distributed just before the show on the day itself, so be there to get your seats at Delacorte Theater.
