True, there are a lot of authentic Chinese restaurants in Chinatown. Dim Sum Go Go is just as Chinese and is maybe authentic fusion. The expertise of a Hong Kong chef and a French-American food critic ensures that the food is as close to the original and the quality and service is impeccable. It also means there's a good mix of the traditional and the contemporary, as well as vegetarian and vegan, which is not something one would expect at a Chinese restaurant. The edamame, sea fungus and shark are all on the menu and a dozen or two dumpling varieties. One more thing: it's all fresh Dim Sum, not the ones you pick out from the cart.
