Footprints Café is a family-owned Caribbean restaurant that originally opened its doors in Flatbush, Brooklyn in 2001. When the original location became a hit, the owners decided to expand in 2006. They opened a new location nearer to the water in Coney Island, giving the restaurant more of a island feel. Footprints Café offers reasonably priced Caribbean fare from a large selection of appetizers like beef patties and calypso pepper shrimp, salads such as the potato crusted goat cheese and tuna sashimi salad, and roti. Entrees include a variety of chicken selections including jerk chicken seafood, and vegetarian options. Footprints also features live music, cutting-edge comedians, and a lively karaoke scene.
