Friedman Theater, New York

The Friedman Theater, formerly known as Biltmore has been privy to a lot of upheaval. Much to the delight of New Yorkers, it has managed come out unscathed and remains a theater venue. Opened in 1925, this venue was a roaring success for about three decades after which it was used as a CBS studio in the 1950's and 1960's. Trying times forced the theater to close down for quite some time, after which it re-opened in 2003. Friedman today is home to the Manhattan Theater Club. Open hours vary throughout the week, call for details.Box office timings commence from Monday through Saturday at 10 am to 6 pm and on Sundays 11 am to 7 pm.
