Overview
One of Brooklyn's most visited attractions, the Fulton Ferry Landing is the arrival point for passengers that cross the East River by water taxi or walk across the Brooklyn Bridge on foot. The park and attractions around it take their name from Robert Fulton, one of New York's pioneers of transport and commerce. Today, the landing is a favorite spot for taking wedding photos and during the hot summer months, the park itself provides respite from the temperatures. In addition to great views of Manhattan, there is plenty to eat around the area, with the famous Grimaldi's, The River Cafe and if you feel like a walk, you can head into Brooklyn Heights for some more beautiful views and even better meals.
