Overview

Hunter College, founded by social reformer Thomas Hunter, forms part of the City University of New York. The college offers undergraduate and graduate programs to students. It is sub-divided into 4 colleges namely the School of Arts and Sciences, the School of Education, the School of the Health Professionals and the School of Social Work. The students are exposed to specialized learning facilities and they also have a grand sports complex to sharpen the students' athletic talents. Jacqueline Grennan Wexler Library is the main library and it is abundant with all the essential books, journals and magazines.
