Jazz Standard, New York

Jazz Standard, the upscale and relaxing jazz club has found success thanks to a good location and mainstream but high quality entertainment. Unfortunately, its sibling restaurant 27 Standard upstairs did not fare as well, and it has closed down to make way for another venture. The typical cover charge at Jazz Standard is reasonable for Manhattan standard. The sound system is excellent, and there is seating for a total of 130 people. One of the best jazz clubs around and also named 'Best Jazz Club' by the New York magazine. Check out the website for a whole lot of information.
