Founded in 1904 at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, the Jewish Museum is now one of the world's premier centers for Jewish heritage and culture. Housed in a former mansion on Museum Mile, the collection is impressive; it includes over 28,000 objects, from sculpture and paintings to photographs and archaeological artifacts.
