Meatball Shop (The), New York

The Meatball Shop specializes in meatballs as its name suggests. The restaurant’s selection of meatballs features beef, chicken, spicy pork, vegetable and salmon balls which can be consumed with the standard focaccia and sauce, combined in buns as sliders or placed in a baguette to form a classic hero sandwich. There are two other locations in the city, one in Tribeca and the other in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The Meatball Shop features long communal tables in all of its eateries. Aside from the various permutations and combinations that it offers for its meatballs, the restaurant also has a dessert menu that features old-fashioned ice cream sandwiches made with your choice of the restaurant’s homemade ice creams (chocolate, vanilla, espresso) and cookies (chocolate chip, ginger snap, peanut butter).
