Meme occupies a busy corner on the junction of Bank and Hudson Streets in the West Village. The restaurant has a distinct laid-back vibe, quite similar to the one offered by its sibling, Virage, in the East Village. The restaurant, which is adorned with an assortment of quaint Moroccan tchotchkes and artwork, offers a huge menu. Some of the tasty treats they offer are a variety of tapas like hummus, meat sambusak, merguez sausage and grilled octopus. These tapas can then be followed up with a variety of salads, sandwiches or even hearty entrees like chicken kebab, chicken tagine and steak frites. Meme is open for lunch, dinner and brunch all throughout the week.
