Located near Grand Central, Public House sits out of the way on 41st Street, which is a rarely traversed side street. The main problem Public House may find is that its poor location has kept it off the radar of anybody, let alone the main young professional, suit-wearing types it clearly hopes to attract. Drink selections are solid, but a few dollars overpriced, as is the upscale' American food. The investors of this out-of-state franchise clearly missed something. Perhaps that will change as word spreads. Until then, enjoy it as a private affair and bring extra cash to waste.
