Sauce is a rustic Italian eatery located on the Lower East Side. The restaurant is owned by Frank Prisinzano, owner of several of New Yorks favorite Italian places on differing levels of fanciness. The restaurant only seats about 100 so it can get crazy at times, but many will say its well worth it. The restaurant also features its own butcher shop, an interesting attraction for carnivores, and you can even pick up some of the house made sausages and other meats to take home with you and prepare however you like.
