Shanghai Café is a busy Chinese eatery, located in the heart of New York City's Chinatown. This lively eating house is renowned for its mouth-watering Pork Dumplings, which can be steamed or fried according to your taste. Shanghai café has an extensive menu which also features several other varieties of dim sum like Steamed Pork Buns and Fried Shanghai Wontons and many noodles and rice dishes like Braised noodles with Beef/Chicken/Pork and Shredded Pork with String Beans and Black Mushrooms which are served over rice and best enjoyed family style. The restaurant however gets to be quite noisy at meal times when the service can seem a bit rushed and brusque as the servers try to accommodate the hungry crowds. Cash only.
