Tertulia, located just blocks from Washington Square Park in the heart of Greenwich Village, is a tapas bar par excellence. The restaurant was inspired by chef Seamus Mullen's travels around Spain and his love for the sidrería (local tavern specializing in cider). The menu consists of all varying sizes of fairly traditional tapas. Menu items are ingredient driven, so items change periodically. Diners will find all their favorites like Patatas Bravas and Jamón Ibérico, as well as some more modern spins on traditional tapas dishes like the Cordero (grilled lamb breast with creamy farro and cauliflower.) The dining room is bright and lively, evoking exactly what Mullen intended, your traditional neighborhood taverna that are found all over Spain.
