Tiramisu, New York

The décor at this dimly-lit Italian restaurant which is named after a favorite Italian dessert is dominated by a large brick oven. This oven, which is located towards the rear of the restaurant, is used extensively to produce a wide range of delectable thin crust pizzas for which Tiramisu is especially known. Apart from pizzas, the menu at this well established Upper East Side dining spot features robust Italian fare that includes a variety of pastas like the common place Penne a la Vodka to the more exotic Linguine Nere Con Calamari. However, the most noteworthy item on the menu is of course, the divine Tiramisu after which the restaurant is justifiably named.
