Overview

This small museum of crafts and other objects particular to Ukrainian culture and immigration. Most of the pieces, such as decorated Easter eggs and metal work, were handmade. The Ukrainian Museum is located in an area of the city that once housed a number of Ukrainian immigrants, as well as other Eastern Europeans. The East Village is now filled with students and other young people, but vestiges of the neighborhood's former life still remain in establishments such as this one.
