Olcott Beach, Niagara Falls

This whole area is reminiscent of simple times from a bygone era. From 1900 to 1937, this town was a mecca for summer visitors, who flocked to the area by steamship or trolley. Visitors would stay in a grand hotel with a ballroom that featured top acts of the day, like Guy Lombardo, Louis Armstrong and the Dorsey Brothers. Today, the area features a vintage carousel park, shopping at the Lakeview Village Fair and recreational activities at Krull Park. This 323-acre park, located along the shores of Lake Ontario, dominates the village. It offers a variety of family-friendly activities, including a small swimming beach.
