Boutique hotel in heart of Niagara Falls - 5 min walk to Seneca Casino and Falls - 19th floor observatory offers full views.
At long last, Niagara Falls has a luxury boutique hotel. The Giacomo is jewel-box lovely on the inside and art deco crazy on the outside. It's housed inside an old office building constructed in 1929, but which was abandoned and empty for more than three decades. It's only got 38 rooms, so, as you would expect, service is prompt and personal; the manager goes out of his way to remember guests' names. Rooms are decorated with big geometric print paintings, sandy-colored walls (except for one wall that’s done with bright, embroidered wallpaper), and dark wood bed frames with earth-toned duvets. Bathrooms have Gothic-influenced fleur-de-lis patterned wallpaper. Many of the suites come with Jacuzzis and/or fireplaces, and all guests can use a hotel town car for rides to Seneca Casino and nearby Niagara Falls, about a 10-minute walk away.
