Falafel Café, Cleveland

Centrally located in University Circle, Falafel Café offers fast, cheap Middle Eastern food to its student, professional, and other clientele. Its menu consists of primarily Middle Eastern staples, but it also has a section of "American Classics." The latter is primarily burgers of different builds, from beef to chicken to salmon to veggie. The Middle Eastern part of the menu features Fatayer pies of several kinds, from beef to spinach and samosas. Pitas, kabobs, and falafels are all available, as are several different platters, like a Gyro Combo or Sahn el Sultan, with kebbeh, hummus, and tabbouleh. - Marjorie Jensen
